As a Senior Staff Mobile Engineer at EarnIn, you will work cross-functionally with various teams and will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our services and both new and legacy products.&nbsp;</div>

<div>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $279,000 to $341,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This hybrid position requires in-person work from our Mountain View HQ 2+ days a week.&nbsp;</div>

<h3>WHAT YOU'LL DO</h3>
<ul>
<li>Architecture Leadership: Define, evolve, and advocate for a scalable, modular, and maintainable native mobile architecture across iOS and Android.</li>
<li>Hands-On Contribution: Lead by example with code and architecture spikes in both platforms.</li>
<li>Cross-Platform Expertise: Leverage Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) where it makes sense, guiding the adoption strategy and avoiding the pitfalls of overabstraction.</li>
<li>Collaboration: Partner with multiple product engineering teams to ensure mobile features are implemented with architectural integrity while balancing speed and business outcomes.</li>
<li>Mentorship: Uplift mobile engineers across teams by evangelizing design patterns, clean code practices, testing strategies, and performance optimization.</li>
<li>Multi-Tasking &amp; Context Switching: Drive architecture conversations across several ongoing initiatives simultaneously without losing depth or rigor.</li>
<li>Scalability &amp; Performance: Proactively identify bottlenecks, tech debt, and long-term risks; propose solutions that scale with user growth and product expansion.</li>
<li>Immediate Impact: Jump in quickly to bring clarity, untangle existing architectural challenges, and unlock velocity for ongoing product initiatives.</li>
</ul>
<h3>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR&nbsp;</h3>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of professional experience in native mobile development with deep expertise in both iOS and Android.</li>
<li>Demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale, complex mobile applications used by millions.</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of mobile architecture design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, etc.).</li>
<li>Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C (legacy), Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Java (legacy).</li>
<li>Solid understanding of cross-platform approaches, including KMP (must have some hands-on experience).</li>
<li>Strong grasp of API design, modularization, dependency management, CI/CD, release strategies, and mobile DevOps pipelines.</li>
<li>Experience in influencing and aligning multiple product engineering teams on architecture decisions.</li>
<li>Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to explain complex architecture trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>
<li>Experience in modernizing legacy codebases and leading significant refactoring efforts is preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Exposure to mobile security best practices and handling of sensitive data is preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Familiarity with mobile analytics, crash reporting, feature flagging, and experimentation platforms preferred.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Experience in fintech, regulated industries, or high-scale consumer applications is a plus.&nbsp;<br><br></li>
