Summary
Emendata, LLC is a company that helps organizations with a social mission tackle problems using analytics. They are seeking a Data Analyst who will solve problems with data, manage analytics projects from beginning to end, and communicate findings effectively.
Responsibilities
- Understanding the client’s problem and identifying the right research questions
- Corralling the data needed for analysis by cleaning, linking, and structuring large datasets
- Deploying the right analytic tool for the job and interpreting the results
- Bringing the results together in a narrative and communicating it effectively
Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent technical training
- Basic to intermediate experience with Python, SQL, or R
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with an understanding of statistical/social science research methods
- Ability to work in the U.S. without a need for current or future visa sponsorship
- Successful completion of a background investigation, including the Questionnaire for Public Trust Position SF-85
Qualifications
