Summary
Empower Pharmacy is a healthcare company focused on expanding access to personalized, affordable medication through compounding pharmacy and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The Product Marketing Manager will own product marketing for one to two therapy areas, including positioning, launches, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, compliance review, and customer insight. The role partners with marketing, sales, medical, legal, R&D, and operations teams to drive effective and compliant growth.
Responsibilities
- Product marketing for your assigned therapy areas: positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for prescribing providers, telehealth and clinic partners, and the patients they serve
- Product launches in your areas: running the tiered launch playbook from workback plan to post-launch readout, coordinating content, creative, digital, and sales along the way
- Launch and demand generation partnership: working with the campaign team to plan and execute therapy-area campaigns. You bring the positioning, audience insight, and product truth; they bring the channels and execution. You're accountable for the message being right and the product story converting
- Copy and claims accuracy: partnering with Medical Affairs and Legal on claims review for everything in your therapy areas, including product copy, sales materials, campaign assets, and web content. You own getting materials through review without losing their commercial edge
- Product and therapy-area intelligence: sitting in R&D and Operations review meetings as marketing's representative, bringing the right research, data points, and market context in, and carrying formulation updates, capacity realities, and pipeline news back to marketing and sales
- Website product pages for your therapy areas: keeping them current, accurate, compliant, and built to convert, coordinating updates with digital and content teams as products, formulations, and positioning evolve
- Sales tools for your therapy areas: battlecards, one-pagers, objection handling, proof points, and pitch support, built with reps, tested in the field, and kept current
- Competitive tracking for your areas: knowing which compounders are winning, on what, and what we say back
- Voice of the customer: regular time with sales calls, provider conversations, and win/loss notes, turned into messaging and product feedback the broader team uses
Skills
- Strong writing
- Organized enough to run multiple launches, review cycles, and web updates in parallel without dropping threads
- Fluency with AI as a daily working tool: drafting, research, competitive analysis, and the judgment to know when its output isn't good enough
- Self-directed and fast: priorities shift monthly here, and we consider that a feature
- 4-7 years in marketing, with at least 2 in product marketing or a role with real positioning, launch, or sales enablement work; healthcare, pharma, devices, or wellness experience strongly preferred, and experience in men's health, women's health, weight management, or wellness categories is preferred
- Experience marketing to or through professionals: providers, clinicians, practitioners, or B2B buyers, or a clear grasp of what makes that different from consumer marketing; experience marketing something where the product itself couldn't be the differentiator is preferred
- Experience working with legal, medical, or regulatory review, or another environment where every word gets checked, and the skill to keep copy sharp through that process; experience as the marketing person in the room with R&D, medical, or clinical teams, translating between the two worlds, is preferred
- Evidence you've shipped: launches you ran, assets salespeople used, campaigns you carried from brief to results; time spent with sales teams to know what they actually use versus what marketing thinks they use, and having built something from scratch — a toolkit, a launch process, or a competitive program that outlived your involvement — are preferred
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear
- The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices
- Employees are regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
