Associate Technical Writer

Summary

Engineering Innovation, Inc. is looking for an Associate Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of their products. The role involves collaborating with developers, quality engineers, and product managers to create user-friendly documentation and improve user experience.

Responsibilities

• Help convert legacy documentation into Paligo, our Component Content Management System (CCMS)
• Use publishing tools to generate polished, customer‑facing documents
• Write and edit manuals, guides, emails, and technical documents
• Translate complex concepts into easy‑to‑understand language for both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Create graphics, capture images, and format content for clarity and visual appeal
• Apply writing and design skills to improve UX/UI for internal and external users
• Assist with layout and document design for print and web content
• Set up meetings and interviews with SMEs (project managers, engineers, developers, and others)
• Gather information, ask the right questions, and ensure accuracy in all content
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand product functionality and workflows
