Environment America is dedicated to protecting the natural world and is hiring a marketing intern for their outreach and marketing team. The intern will gain experience in environmental advocacy by planning social media strategies, creating educational content, and learning to craft impactful messages.
Responsibilities
- You’ll plan and execute social media strategies that inform and activate the public
- You’ll create engaging educational content for our website
- You’ll learn how to craft messages for environmental campaigns in ways that attract attention and inspire involvement
- You’ll work side-by-side with Emily Kowalski, Environment Illinois Outreach & Engagement Manager, learning the ropes of how to organize and advocate for environmental solutions
- You’ll attend briefings and trainings to learn even more about environmental issues and gain organizing skills
