Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst with ECI, you will perform timekeeping and invoicing functions using forestry computer programs and record systems!  ECI helps keep the lights on anywhere there is a power line - whether in the city, the rural countryside, or deep in the remote forest.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Operate computer programs and systems to complete the following tasks:

  • Input all timesheets into client’s electronic record program
  • Review timesheets to ensure correct hours and coding associated with labor and equipment
  • Edit and verify work order numbers
  • Resolve discrepancies with field and office contractors
  • Run Invoice Verification Reports and check records to match
  • Receive, process, pay, and reconcile tree service vendor invoices with total average amount of $2-5M/week.
  • Coding, entry, processing, billing, and payment of all police and flagging invoices
  • Prepare weekly payment reports and supporting documentation for tree service vendors
  • Follow up on missing timesheets, invoices not received or have errors.  Pursue documentation for missing expense backup.
  • Track all regular work as well as storm/emergency work.
  • Review all data for accuracy.
  • Constant rearrangement of priorities/multi-tasking.
  • Processing of payments under the correct purchase order numbers, while being vigilant about avoiding underpayments as well as overpayments to vendors.  Ensure the use of correct accounting codes for UVLs.
  • Develop and maintain effective communications with billing and payment staff for tree vendors.
  • Assist Billing/Invoice manager daily.
  • Assist Distribution and Transmission managers as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: 

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and readily adapt to shifting requirement
• Advanced use of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Strong aptitude in alpha and numeric data entry
• Ability to produce accurate electronic and written records
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
