Summary

As a Robotics Operations & SW Test Engineer, you will work with advanced robotics platforms to ensure operational stability and quality assurance through various testing and validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the seamless execution, maintenance, and quality assurance of FF's diverse advanced robotics platforms
- Perform routine operations
- Manage daily product demonstrations
- Execute software maintenance according to user manuals
- Collaborate closely with software developers to perform end-to-end functional validation
- Perform regression testing
- Conduct robot telemetry data analysis
- Validate perception systems
- Track testing metrics
- Identify system anomalies using data-driven methodologies to ensure operational stability
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Big Data, or a related technical discipline
- 1+ years of experience in software development, validation, QA engineering, data analytics, or software testing
- Manual and automated test execution, hardware/software integration, and multi-platform software validation (primarily Linux and Windows environments)
- Robust programming proficiency in Python, Bash or similar scripting languages for automated test suite development, data parsing, and log evaluation
- Linux operating systems, version control systems (Git), and issue tracking ecosystems (such as Jira or GitHub Issues)
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or an equivalent advanced quantitative engineering discipline
- Hands-on debugging and development using embedded middleware, specifically ROS/ROS2 (Robot Operating System) concepts, nodes, and topic logging
- Practical experience in designing, optimizing, or testing Computer Vision pipelines (using PyTorch, OpenCV, or equivalent tools) and deploying perception models on embedded physical hardware
- Foundational understanding of Machine Learning concepts, Neural Networks, and deep learning libraries (such as TensorFlow or PyTorch) for parsing intelligent telemetry data and detecting system anomalies
- Extensive experience in analyzing robotic sensor/actuator data, diagnostic logging, and executing SDK-based integration tests on live physical hardware
- A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
