Job description
Summary
Faros is reshaping the way engineering organizations operate with an engineering intelligence platform. They are seeking software engineers to help build foundational systems and solve complex technical challenges, working closely across product, data, and engineering to design the context graph and operational data platform.
Responsibilities
- Writing code and building foundational systems
- Solving complex technical challenges at scale
- Designing the context graph and operational data platform
- Bringing together signals from across the software development lifecycle
- Pioneering a new generation of AI systems and agents
Skills
- Education: Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, or equivalent real-world experience
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- AI Fluency: Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or equivalents), embeddings, vector stores, tool use, prompt design, and evaluation. Not just current tool mastery, but persistence, curiosity, and vision
- Proficiency in TypeScript + Node.js and/or Python
- Experience designing/consuming REST/GraphQL APIs
- Experience with building & productionizing web services, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, orchestration frameworks
- Strong database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL)
