Operations Intern

Summary

First Baptist Dallas is a thriving church community living for Jesus Christ. They are seeking an Operations Intern for a year-long program designed for college or seminary students pursuing the administrative or operational side of ministry.

Responsibilities

• Gaining hands-on experience in areas such as worship production, church finance, church administration, facilities management, communications, or information technology
• Participating in departmental work and ministry team meetings
• Gathering weekly for Bible study, fellowship, and specialized training

• Must be an active member of First Baptist Dallas Church or another like-minded Church
• Must be currently enrolled in a College, University, or Seminary
• Must have sensed a call into some vocational ministry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support the vision of the ministry
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and events efficiently
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift to ten (10) pounds
• Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for extended periods of time
