Five Rings offers an intensive 9 week summer internship program that runs from the beginning of June through the beginning of August. The program includes immersion in hands-on projects, classroom instruction, and in-house built strategy games. Interns will work closely with the research team on development projects. You will have a mentor fully dedicated to you during the internship.&nbsp;
You will take part in a series of talks to introduce you to key trading concepts. We also offer a variety of activities such as strategic game nights, nights out in NY, dinners, and so much more.&nbsp;&nbsp;
About You&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Must be working towards a PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, economics, or another qualifying field</li>
<li>Exceptional at math and with other quantitative skills</li>
<li>Has a hunger to work on some of the most complex mathematical problems we find</li>
<li>Must enjoy problem solving as this is at the forefront of the role</li>
<li>Enjoys initiating/acting on a thought or idea as soon as it comes to mind</li>
<li>Proven track record of success within candidates field of specialty</li>
<li>Excited to work as a team, but also comfortable testing ideas independently</li>
<li>Must have basic programming experience through internships or academia</li>
<li>Meticulous and detail-oriented</li>
<li>Eager to learn</li>

Annual Base Salary: $300,000. Additionally, interns receive a sign on bonus and corporate housing.
