Product Manager (with AI Focus)

Summary

Flexhire is seeking a Product Manager with a focus on AI to enhance product management and QA processes. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop AI-enabled features and overseeing the manual QA function while integrating AI-driven testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior PMs, data scientists, engineers, and designers to define, prototype, and ship AI-enabled features (e.g., intelligent user-story generation, automated test-case creation, predictive QA insights)
• Own the manual QA function while designing and integrating AI-driven testing tools to automate repetitive checks and surface edge-case anomalies
• Drive continuous product improvement through AI-powered analytics—using models to identify usage patterns, forecast risks, and recommend optimizations
• Help build and maintain AI-first workflows: from prompt-engineering for our in-house models to incorporating third-party AI APIs for performance monitoring and user feedback analysis
• Actively help to shape the AI driven product development process
• Support product discovery by gathering requirements and user feedback with guidance from senior PMs
• Help write and prioritize user stories, organize sprints, and document product specs
• Participate in team standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews
• Assist in defining success metrics and tracking product usage to inform decisions
• Maintain clear documentation and contribute to go-to-market materials
• Help ensure the product vision is communicated across design, engineering, and leadership
• Coordinate internal team feedback loops and prepare content for product demos
• Design and execute exploratory and scripted tests to ensure new features work as intended and edge cases are handled gracefully
• Perform manual functional, regression, and user acceptance testing during sprints and release cycles
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Shortcut, working closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Collaborate with product and design to ensure requirements are well-understood and testable
• Maintain detailed QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results
• Monitor customer-reported issues and verify fixes before release
• Provide QA feedback during planning and design reviews to help shape implementation

Skills

• 3+ years' experience in manual QA, product management, or engineering
• Demonstrated AI-first mindset: familiarity with prompt engineering, model evaluation, or integrating AI/ML features into products
• Strong attention to detail and a data-driven curiosity for uncovering edge cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Solid understanding of Agile software development and modern AI tooling (e.g., Python ML libraries, model-ops platforms)
• Enthusiasm for startup life, high ownership, and a willingness to get hands-on with both code and models
• Investment management experience
• Experience with QA frameworks that leverage AI (e.g., Testim, Mabl, or custom ML-driven scripts)
• Basic SQL and API skills for backend validation and data extraction
• Exposure to B2B SaaS or fintech platforms
• Comfort with frontend code or browser dev tools
