PLC Programmer/Technician

Summary

Gabletek Robotics and Controls Solutions is seeking experienced technicians for an upcoming industrial startup project in Calvert, Alabama. The role supports PLC commissioning, startup activities, electrical and controls troubleshooting, safety system validation, control logic testing, and load testing.

Responsibilities

• PLC commissioning and startup support
• VFD (SINAMICS) parameterization and encoder configuration
• Troubleshooting electrical and controls systems
• Safety system validation including E-stops, limit switches, overload protection, and full control/power system testing
• No-load testing and system verification
• Emergency brake programming integrated with PLC and MH Drive
• Verification and testing of control logic per operation philosophy
• Completion of remaining electrical and commissioning points on-site
• Support load testing and startup activities as needed

Skills

• Experience with industrial commissioning and startup projects
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and commissioning background
• Ability to work long hours and travel as required
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience with SINAMICS drives and VFD parameterization preferred
