Job description

Summary

GEICO is a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family and one of the largest auto insurers in the United States. They are seeking a Commercial Quality Assurance / Technical Analyst to develop quality assurance criteria and review compliance across commercial auto lines, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • DEVELOPS quality assurance criteria in conjunction with stakeholders, that supports claims process
  • REVIEWS and MONITORS quality assurance reviews across all commercial/ business auto lines to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and quality standards
  • CONDUCTS complex analyses of processes, documentation, and controls; SUPPORTS state requested regulatory quality reviews; and works in a solution-oriented manner to identify and support effective resolutions

Skills

  • Must be able to, with or without accommodation, perform the essential functions which include, but are not limited to seeing, hearing, typing and speaking
  • Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • 3+ years of commercial auto casualty OR cargo OR hazmat claims experience. Previous claim handling experience acceptable if now in a analyst role
  • Exposure across multiple claim types preferred
