Job description
Summary
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a JAVA Developer for a 6-month onsite position in Austin, TX. The role involves coding, debugging, and translating business requirements into technical designs using Java and various frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Code using Java 1.6 and upwards
- Be well versed in Eclipse IDE
- Handle version control
- Debug issues in existing code to fix defects
- Translate business requirements or customization into low level technical designs and code
- Have a strong hold of Unit testing/Junits/Assembly testing and Integration testing
- Have a good hands on exposure to development using weblogic app server including webservices batch and online code
Skills
- US Citizen and Green Card, GC-EAD, H4-EAD only
- W2 only
- Online/Java/J2ee developer with prior experience in APSP IE ABMS
- Strong code/design skills in OOPS
- Ability to code using Java 1.6 and upwards
- Well versed in Eclipse IDE
- Ability to handle version control
- Ability to debug issues in existing code to fix defects
- Capability to translate business requirements or customization into low level technical designs and code
- Strong hold of Unit testing/Junits/Assembly testing and Integration testing
