They are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Civil Engineering or Construction Management Intern to assist their team in various engineering and construction oversight tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering designs, calculations, and drawings
• Support field work and inspections for ongoing projects, observe construction processes, and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Help in the analysis of data and research on civil engineering standards and best practices
• Collaborate with project teams to prepare reports and presentations for clients
• Use software Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite
• Participate in client meetings
• Support the team with project documentation and project management tasks
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills

• Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS or similar tools
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices is a plus
