Front Office Data Steward &amp; Analytics Lead – CRM OptimizationRole Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled professional to transform how Mizuho’s Equity Sales &amp; Research Departments manage and leverage data. This role will bridge front office, business operations and technology, ensuring data integrity, optimizing readership analytics, and driving automation through AI and advanced data science techniques. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of CRM systems and business processes to deliver scalable, intelligent solutions.Key Responsibilities:1. Data Stewardship &amp; Governance<ul><li>Own and manage the integrity of CRM data (firms, contacts, subscriptions) across platforms like Prism.</li><li>Develop automated workflows for:<ul><li>Employment changes and client creation.</li><li>Contact enrichment for readership hits.</li><li>Duplicate detection and merging.</li><li>Data reconciliation between Prism and third-party vendors.</li></ul></li><li>Implement AI-driven tools for data quality checks and anomaly detection.</li></ul>2. Readership Analytics &amp; Insights<ul><li>Design and deploy advanced analytics models to extract actionable insights from readership data.</li><li>Solve embargoed data challenges by automating unmasking processes post-embargo.</li><li>Build predictive models to identify high-value contacts based on consumption patterns.</li><li>Integrate readership data from BlueMatrix, Factset, Capital IQ, and other sources into CRM for real-time visibility.</li></ul>3. Subscription &amp; Unsubscribe Management<ul><li>Automate unsubscribe workflows using AI/NLP to interpret client intent from unstructured emails.</li><li>Create self-service tools for clients to manage subscription preferences.</li><li>Reduce manual intervention and improve client experience through intelligent routing and categorization.</li></ul>4. Sell-Side Contact Identification<ul><li>Develop systematic processes and machine learning models to identify and block sell-side contacts.</li><li>Collaborate with business teams to enforce compliance and maintain accurate segmentation.</li></ul>5. Email Delivery &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for BTS email transfers to SendGrid/Datazoic.</li><li>Use AI-driven anomaly detection to identify delivery failures and bounce patterns proactively.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Technical Expertise:<ul><li>Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for automation and data processing.</li><li>Strong knowledge of AI/ML techniques for data cleansing, predictive analytics, and NLP.</li><li>Experience with data science workflows, including ETL, modeling, and visualization.</li></ul></li><li>CRM Knowledge:<ul><li>Deep understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Prism) and integration with third-party platforms.</li></ul></li><li>Data Management:<ul><li>Expertise in data governance, stewardship, and quality assurance.</li></ul></li><li>Analytical Mindset:<ul><li>Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.</li></ul></li><li>Communication &amp; Collaboration:<ul><li>Work closely with research, sales, and IT teams to align data strategy with business goals.</li></ul></li></ul>The expected base salary ranges from $150,000- $200,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
