Freelance Experience Designer

Summary

GSW, powered by Syneos Health, is a full-service healthcare communications agency creating personalized brand experiences for healthcare audiences. The Freelance Experience Designer will design user-centered digital experiences across web, mobile, VR/AR, and emerging platforms, developing concepts, prototypes, animations, and interaction designs while collaborating with UX, development, copy, and creative teams.

Responsibilities

• Design digital experiences that align with campaigns targeting healthcare professionals and patient/consumer audiences
• Submit work for review by creative lead and manage revisions through necessary stages of assigned projects
• Creating design concepts, prototypes, and animations to communicate your interactive design solutions
• Have skills in presenting digital creative work, with the ability to explain the “big idea” to team members
• Work in tandem with UX, developers, and copy to ensure solutions are seamless for execution and copy is on point for development
• Envision and develop intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions and experience designs for multiple platforms (web and mobile, VR/AR, and beyond)
• Work with teams to test features and incorporate user feedback into design iterations
• Communicate designs – Create meaningful experience design deliverables such as digital design concepts, prototypes, animations of interactions, and final presentations that help the team understand what to build and why
• Ability to build and maintain component libraries in XD, Sketch, Figma
• Creates design solutions for digital executions – ability to understand and utilize brand hallmarks, identity development, typography, design theory, etc

Skills

• 3+ years' experience in digital design, experience design
• Knowledge of digital design tools including the Adobe Software Suite, XD, Sketch, Figma is a priority, digitally-native animation programs (such as Principle, Spline, Lottie, FigJam, etc.)
• Ability to design for 3D – three.js, etc
• Knowledge of Unity is a bonus
