Job description

Summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to manage billing and claims processing. The role focuses on accurate revenue collection, patient and insurance communication, accounts receivable monitoring, compliance, reporting, process improvements, and team training.

Responsibilities

  • Handle insurance billing, claims follow-up, collections, and patient billing
  • Review accounts for accuracy
  • Monitor accounts receivable
  • Investigate denied claims and discrepancies
  • Process payments promptly
  • Communicate effectively with patients and carriers
  • Generate performance reports
  • Stay updated on billing codes and compliance
  • Identify process improvements
  • Support team training
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
