Summary
Huron is redefining what a global consulting organization can be, and they are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to help build solutions in collaboration with business teams. The role focuses on full-stack development on AWS and Azure while ensuring quality and adherence to design direction.
Responsibilities
- Build the features. Full-stack on AWS and Azure using Claude and other models
- Work with users. Sit with the business day to day and build with them
- Keep quality up. Tests and evaluations on everything that ships
- Take design direction. From the Solution Architect, and flag what the design misses
Skills
- 3 to 5 years building software or AI
- Python, and AWS or Azure
- A strong builder who is comfortable working with the business
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Some RAG and agent experience, plus exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling (agentic coding tools, eval-driven pipelines)
- Meets the FDE-ready floor (Embedding L3 with AI L3) at day 0
- Front-end skills
- Healthcare or higher education exposure
- AWS AI Practitioner or Azure AI-900 / AI-102
Qualifications
Must Haves
- 3 to 5 years building software or AI

- A strong builder who is comfortable working with the business
