Application Developer-Google Cloud FullStack

Summary

IBM Consulting helps organizations advance their hybrid cloud and AI journeys through client collaboration, strategic partnerships, and IBM and Red Hat technologies. The Application Developer: Google Cloud FullStack will design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions, backend microservices, rich UI applications, event-driven architectures, and CI/CD pipelines using Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop Cloud-Native Solutions: Design and develop cloud-native solutions using microservices-based modular designs, API-driven microservices, and event-driven architectures, ensuring scalability and resilience
• Deliver Scalable Backend Microservices: Develop backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via API and event interfaces, and utilizing modern SQL and No-SQL modeling techniques
• Create Rich UI Applications: Develop rich UI applications based on SPA or microfrontends using frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular, and utilizing progressive web application principles
• Implement Event-Driven Architectures: Develop event-driven applications using Kafka, Zookeeper, and other cloud-native technologies, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data processing
• Ensure Cloud-Native CI/CD: Implement cloud-native CI/CD pipelines for change release, utilizing hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, and ensuring efficient testing and deployment

Skills

• Experience with designing and developing cloud-native solutions using microservices-based modular designs, API-driven microservices, and event-driven architectures, with a focus on scalability and resilience
• Experience with developing rich UI applications based on SPA or microfrontends using frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular, and utilizing progressive web application principles, as well as developing scalable and resilient backend microservices
• Experience with developing backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via API and event interfaces, and utilizing modern SQL and No-SQL modeling techniques
• Experience with developing event-driven applications using Kafka, Zookeeper, and other cloud-native technologies, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data processing
• Experience with implementing cloud-native CI/CD pipelines for change release, utilizing hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, and ensuring efficient testing and deployment
• Experience with hyperscaler cloud services and frameworks, including IBM Cloud, Google Cloud, and others, with a focus on scalability and resilience
• Knowledge of cloud-native CI/CD pipelines and event-driven architectures is essential
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including Java, GraalVM, NodeJS, Python, and .Net, with proficiency in one or more of these languages
• Experience with IBM Cloud services, including PaaS, IKS cluster, ROKS Cluster, Cloud Foundry, and others, with a focus on scalability and resilience
