Job description
Summary
iCallidus, Inc. is an IT solutions company focused on cybersecurity, digital modernization, transformation, and strategic management. The Information Security Analyst will support cybersecurity operations for the VA EHRM program by monitoring systems, assessing risks, implementing safeguards, managing vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and maintaining compliance documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform system monitoring and vulnerability scans in support of VA security policies
- Develop and maintain security documentation under the guidance of senior staff
- Assist in incident response activities, including evidence collection and reporting
- Support the execution of Security Control Assessments (SCAs) and remediation activities
- Ensure compliance with access control, encryption, patching, and configuration management requirements
- Document findings, maintain logs, and update the Risk Management Framework repository
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 5 years of IT security or information assurance experience
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, VA TRM standards, and HIPAA requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / Moderate Risk clearance
- Industry certification (e.g., Security+, CEH, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience working with Cerner (Oracle Health) electronic health record solutions and prior involvement with the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program is strongly preferred
Qualifications
