They are seeking a Mid-Level Systems Integration Engineer to support enterprise computer systems and network operations, managing and analyzing systems and networks while translating user needs into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise computer systems and networks by analyzing technical issues and implementing corrective actions
- Monitor and interpret visual outputs indicating operational status of systems and network infrastructure
- Translate user requests into technical diagnoses and implement solutions to meet operational needs
- Develop and support migration strategies to transition customers to new architectures or technologies with minimal impact
- Evaluate new technologies and equipment for integration into agency standard solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with three (3) years, or Associate's degree with seven (7) years, or high school diploma/GED with nine (9) years of relevant experience
- Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong experience with Linux systems
- Experience in systems administration, network administration, application administration, or IT support
- Experience supporting hardware installation such as servers or network infrastructure
- Experience configuring storage solutions such as network‑attached storage
- Experience implementing security best practices including PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages such as Bash, Bourne, or C
- Must possess an IAT‑I certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
- Relevant experience must include computer or information systems design or development, programming, information or cyber security, network security, vulnerability analysis, computer forensics, information assurance, or systems engineering
- Experience in network or system administration
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
