Fullstack Engineer, Marketing

Summary

IMG Academy is a sports education brand providing education, coaching, recruiting, and performance development experiences for student-athletes and organizations. The company is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to develop, test, maintain, and document front-end and back-end web application components while collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern frameworks and technologies
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement user-friendly interfaces
• Build and integrate APIs to support application functionality
• Work with databases, ensuring optimal data modeling and performance
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Document and define disaster and succession plans for software solutions
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance product development

Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role
• JavaScript, HTML, SCSS, Liquid, Twig
• Ruby, PHP, Node.js
• Composer, Brew, NVM/NPM
• Linux, Apache, MySQL, YAML
• Leveraging Claude AI
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with relational and SQL databases
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with version control using Git/GitHub
• Experience with Enterprise Cloudflare services
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Master's degree in software engineering or related field
• Interest in sports
• Experience leveraging AI frameworks such as OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies
