Summary
Impiricus is an AI-powered healthcare technology company that connects healthcare professionals with pharmaceutical resources. The QA Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites, lead automated and manual testing, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, compliant software delivery in the healthcare domain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, pipelines, and automated tests (unit, API, integration, E2E)
- Write and execute automated and manual tests; analyze logs, metrics, and defects
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements and testing strategies
- Document frameworks, test cases, and reporting metrics
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of quality software
- Work closely with product managers and development teams to align on requirements and acceptance criteria
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure software compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA, FDA, and GDPR
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and results
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on proven experience in software QA with a focus on writing automation test cases
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks
- Basic SQL skills for database validation and troubleshooting
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- Preferably in the health tech industry
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, GDPR)
