Job description

Summary

INSPYR Solutions is a national expert in delivering flexible technology and talent solutions. They are seeking a Support Engineer - Security to play a key role in supporting security initiatives, working with customers to adopt new products and ensuring security standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Support programs that deliver new and innovative approaches to securing access management at massive scale
  • Work directly with internal and external customers to help them adopt new security products
  • Refine platform configurations
  • Ensure alignment with the latest security standards
  • Contribute to best practices
  • Drive automation and bulk remediation efforts whenever possible
  • Serve as the point of contact for guidance, support, and mentorship for fellow engineers

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience supporting internal or external customers on critical security initiatives
  • Experience with automation scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Experience with SQL scripting
  • Understanding of security engineering fundamentals, including secure development, cloud security, and application security
  • Hands-on experience using and/or securing AWS services
  • Results-oriented, high energy, and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
  • Experience gathering requirements and delivering solutions to ambiguous technical security challenges
  • Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
