Job description
Summary
IP Recruiter Group is recruiting for an intellectual property practice seeking a patent attorney, patent agent, engineer, or patent agent trainee. The role focuses on preparing and prosecuting patents for domestic and foreign clients involving computer science, software, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, while also supporting related intellectual property matters.
Responsibilities
- The focus of the work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence; Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues)
Skills
- Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
- Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
- Must have at least 1 year of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
- Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
- Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
- State bar and USPTO bar
- Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
- Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
- Must have at least 1 year of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
- Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
- Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
- State bar and USPTO bar
- USPTO bar
- Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
- Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML

- Willingness to pass USPTO bar with a full commitment to becoming a licensed Patent Agent
