Summary
Jacobs is a global company delivering engineering and design solutions for mission-critical, advanced facility, and industrial projects. The Instrumentation & Control Engineer will design control systems for data centers, semiconductor facilities, and other manufacturing environments, developing models, drawings, P&IDs, and panel designs while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities
- Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems
- Work within global multidisciplinary teams
- Manage time efficiently across multiple projects
Skills
- • Degree in Engineering
- • Experience in instrumentation and controls
- • Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- • 2+ years of BIM design experience
- • Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- • Experience designing data center, semiconductor, and other industrial facilities
- • Familiarity with controls, electrical panels and cable tray
- • Familiarity with instrument placement
Qualifications
Must Haves
