Summary
JBT Marel is a food and beverage technology company focused on transforming the future of food through sustainable innovation. The Applications Engineer, Poultry will support the Poultry North America Division by working with customers at food production facilities, assessing production lines, translating requirements into software solutions, and analyzing operational data to improve processes.
Responsibilities
- You will work directly with customers on site at their food production facility
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements while on site, assess customer production lines, and provide feedback for process improvement
- Locate necessary information and resources, explore options, identify a solution, and manipulate the portioning system software to meet the customer's needs
- Measure data, analyze trends, and communicate results.The applications engineer coordinates customer visits based on department priorities and strategic programs
Skills
- BS degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science
- 1+ years of experience with technical concepts involving computers, software, and robotics principles
- The ability to creatively translate customer requirements into practical applications
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
- This position is fully remote, and we ask that you travel approximately 90% of the time
