Summary
Johnson & Johnson is a healthcare innovation company operating across Innovative Medicine and MedTech. The Value Stream Management Intern will support strategic and operational activities across end-to-end product and supply chain value streams, including developing standards, roadmaps, dashboards, workshops, and process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the Value Stream Management (VSM) capability across MedTech
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of VSM standards, templates, playbooks, and guidance materials
- Support Product Strategy Roadmap (PSR) development activities, including data collection, consolidation, and documentation
- Help prepare dashboards, reports, and visual materials to support VSM Services Dashboard
- Contribute to VSM workshops, governance forums, and capability enablement activities
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve visibility, and strengthen VSM ways of working
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, Quality, Finance) to support E2E alignment and execution
- Contribute to documentation, digitalization and continuous improvement of VSM processes, tools, and ways of working to strengthen VSM adoption and scalability
Skills
- Enrollment in an accredited College/Institution degree program
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the internship
- Have demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities
- Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future
- Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
- Undergraduate students: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain or any related field (preferred)
- Previous internship or co-op experience in the medical device industry (preferred)
