Job description

Summary

Katch is a healthcare technology company specializing in payment coordination and helping identify, recover, and prevent payment errors. The Investigations Analyst completes investigations to determine subrogation potential, gathers accident details, applies compliance and reimbursement policies, and prepares subrogation files for the Recovery Specialist team.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and investigates within various claims platforms to determine coverage eligibility and plan information. (20%)
  • Enter missing case details into the case management system. (55%)
  • Review documentation to ensure consistent case set up process. (15%)
  • Contact external customers by phone/ email and solicit additional information required for the case. (8%)
  • Enter daily results into production tracker. (2%)

Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in claims investigation or related field
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in claims systems and subrogation tools
  • This position offers remote work flexibility for candidates who reside in one of our eligible hiring states: Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Texas, Wisconsin, or Michigan
  • Applicants must be located in and legally authorized to work from one of these states at the time of hire and throughout their employment
  • Knowledge of healthcare coding (CPT, ICD-10) preferred
