Summary
KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. KBR is seeking a Threat Analyst - Junior, to support the identification, assessment, and reporting of potential threats to space assets and operations, involving monitoring data sources and analyzing adversarial activity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and collect data from multiple sources to identify potential threats to space systems
- Assist in analyzing indicators of adversarial activity and emerging technologies that may impact space operations
- Support the development of threat assessments and risk reports for internal stakeholders
- Maintain situational awareness of global space activities and provide timely updates during critical events
- Document findings and maintain accurate records in accordance with organizational standards
- Participate in operational readiness exercises and post-event analysis
- Coordinate with mission operations and intelligence teams to validate threat information
- Contribute to process improvements and tool enhancements for threat analysis workflows
- Ensure compliance with established security protocols and regulatory requirements
- Assist in preparing briefings and presentations for leadership and external partners
Skills
- Education & Experience: Master's degree and 1 year of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise, OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise, OR No degree and 4 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise
- Foundational knowledge of space operations, threat analysis, or intelligence principles
- Familiarity with analytical tools or data visualization platforms
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with adjudicated polygraph
- Experience with space domain awareness or intelligence analysis in a government or commercial setting
- Exposure to adversarial threat modeling or counterspace capabilities
