Job description
Summary
Kreative Technologies, LLC is seeking a Data Analyst to support client programs through data collection, analysis, and reporting. The role transforms raw data into findings, reports, dashboards, and visualizations, while presenting recommendations and supporting ad hoc data requests.
Responsibilities
- Extracts, cleans and validates data from databases and other sources
- Analyzes data to find trends, issues and opportunities
- Builds reports, dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders
- Writes SQL queries to support analysis and reporting
- Checks data quality and documents data definitions
- Presents findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Supports ad hoc data requests
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- 2+ years of data analysis experience
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
- Proficient with Excel and at least one reporting tool such as Power BI, Tableau or BusinessObjects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Experience supporting federal government contracts
