Job description
Summary
Kreative Technologies, LLC is seeking a Test Technician to support testing for client applications. The role executes manual tests, documents results, reports defects, performs regression testing, and assists with test data, documentation, and user acceptance testing.
Responsibilities
- Executes manual test cases and test scripts according to test plans
- Records test results and captures evidence such as screenshots
- Logs defects with clear steps to reproduce, expected results and actual results
- Retests fixed defects and runs regression tests
- Prepares and maintains test data
- Assists with updating test cases and test documentation
- Supports user acceptance testing as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of software testing, quality assurance or technical support experience
- Experience following written test procedures and documenting results
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM or Azure DevOps
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification
- Basic SQL knowledge for checking test data
- Experience supporting federal government contracts
