Internship Overview

Internships at Laura Baker Services Association are flexible, meaningful and unique – perfect for students or those wanting to dig into the field of disability support services. Internships can be customized to meet students’ objectives or other personal goals.

Advocacy, Engagement and Research Internship

LBSA has a goal of developing 1,000 engaged advocates on behalf of the organization and our mission to help individuals with disabilities achieve their dreams.

Through this internship opportunity, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Researching specific federal and state disability policies (particularly in light of new government administrations)
  • Helping to craft strategies that will engage additional community members in support of our mission

This unpaid internship is approximately eight hours (flexible) per month.
