Job description

Summary

Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, offering fan-driven sports apparel, headwear, and customized retail experiences. The Visual Merchandising Coordinator supports the development and execution of visual strategies, including product displays, marketing assets, fixtures, and in-store guidelines. The role also provides store-level feedback, coaches managers, coordinates visual execution for new store openings, and monitors expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution and compliance of all Visual Merchandising Programs (for example: towers, feature tables, banner hanging kits, in-store signage etc.) in all store types
  • Provide real time feedback to ensure all given directives are applicable in store
  • Evaluate and coach store managers on Lids Visual Standards
  • Responsible for coordinating the visual execution for new store openings
  • Maintain the Store Master file of Store Visits and Reports
  • Work in conjunction with the Visual Merchandising Team — Graphics & POP to ensure all elements of new initiatives/updates are properly executed on the store level
  • Monitor expenses and work within budget

Skills

  • To be considered for this position you must reside in the Eastern region of the United States
  • Proven experience with execution of strong visual standards, including window displays, signs, interior displays, and space utilization
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Ability to review sales merchandising reports and survey results
  • Ability to constantly sit at a desk in a sedentary work environment
  • Ability to frequently use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to occasionally stand and walk throughout the office
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to frequently communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to occasionally present information to small and large groups, including team members and leadership
  • Ability to constantly view electronic/written materials and adjust focus when needed (i.e. computer screens, documents, etc.)
  • Candidates must possess the experience, skills, physical abilities, and qualifications, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the essential duties of the role and must be able to meet all applicable employment standards
  • Being legally authorized to work in the United States is a pre-condition of employment for this position
  • Current or future employment-based visa sponsorship is not available for this role
