Summary
Lifted, an Upwork Company, is seeking detail-oriented Taxonomy Analysts to support taxonomy operations by labeling and classifying job and resume data. The role involves maintaining accurate taxonomy data that supports large-scale AI and search systems while adhering to established guidelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Labeling and classifying job and resume data
- Improving metadata quality
- Standardizing job titles
- Mapping occupations
- Validating structured data
Skills
- 3-5 years of experience
- Native-level fluency in one of the following languages: English, or French
- Professional English communication skills for meetings, written feedback, Slack, and day-to-day collaboration
- Experience with taxonomy, metadata management, or content classification
- Experience with data labeling, annotation, or data validation
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and pattern recognition
- Ability to follow detailed labeling guidelines and exercise sound judgment
- Experience reviewing high-volume datasets
- Experience supporting localization or multilingual content
- HR/job taxonomy knowledge
- SQL or Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with LLMs/AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)
