Job description

Summary

Magna International is a company that develops industry-leading automotive technologies. They are seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate quality planning and ensure that quality standards are met while monitoring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates quality planning including control plans, FMEA's, audit/inspection details, sample submissions and training plans for inspection
  • Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology and other procedures that ensure quality standards are met
  • Monitors, reports and improves customer satisfaction performance
  • Implements and maintains plant wide quality systems

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience and High School diploma or GED
  • One year experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of the AIAG Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA & SPC), Automotive Customer, or similar quality requirements
  • Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Operate standard office equipment preferred
  • Ability to do trigonometric functions, geometry, and basic math
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Must have computer skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

Must Haves
