Summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a qualified candidate for the Engineer Systems Architect position. The role involves performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, as well as developing system concepts and signal processing algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements
• Defines total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements
• Develops system element architecture and design and interface definitions
• Defines system implementation approach and operational concept
• Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development

Skills

• Minimum Secret clearance is required to start
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with enhanced security checks
• Experience in Radar or RF systems
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter – takes the initiative to research, learn, and deliver. Anticipates the play
• Engineer Systems Architect (2) Junior - 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
• Engineer Systems Architect (3) Mid - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
• Engineer Systems Architect (4) Senior - 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
• Engineer Systems Architect (5) SME - 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience

Qualifications

Must Haves
