Job description
Summary
Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is dedicated to safeguarding national security through innovative technology solutions. They are seeking a Software Engineer 2 to design, develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions in support of critical national defense programs, ensuring systems meet stringent performance, reliability, and security standards.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
- Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
- Ensures software standards are met
Skills
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
- 0 years experience with Masters in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
- TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly at the time of application
- Previous experience working at or with Intelligence Community is a plus
