Summary
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a highly motivated Information Technology student for a cooperative educational position in their Huntsville, AL office. The role involves participating in lab activities, providing technical support, reviewing technical solutions, and troubleshooting systems.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the day-to-day lab related activities of the Army Field Integration team
- Will be trained to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software
- Review existing technical solutions for improvements and efficiencies of our software modules
- Help perform analysis of system operations and troubleshooting of operating systems/database management and network systems
- Utilize analytical data to identify operational trends and implement escalation and resolution techniques
Skills
- Full time student, majoring in Information Technology or related degree
- Initiative, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt well to different situations and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions
