The Mulesoft Consultant designs and develops MuleSoft integration systems, APIs, and data flows while collaborating with clients and developers to improve system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design and even develop MuleSoft applications to meet business requirements
• Design APIs, connectors, and flows to integrate various systems and applications
• Develop requirements to enable teams to transform and map data between different systems
• Design error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure application reliability
• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using API Manager
• Manage API lifecycle, including creation, versioning, and retirement
• Implement API security measures to protect sensitive data
• Develop integration solutions using various protocols like SOAP, REST, and JMS
• Integrate cloud-based and on-premises systems
• Design properly optimized integration flows for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues
• Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks
• Collaborate with developers and client business users to understand requirements and design solutions

Skills

• Being able to work with non-technical clients and design integration solutions that support their business needs is an absolute must
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Code Builder, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager
• Proficiency in MuleSoft development concepts, including flows, connectors, transformers, and error handling
• Experience with API design, development, and testing
• Knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Experience with data formats like JSON and XML
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Certification in Mulesoft (preferred)
• Experience with MuleSoft Omni Platform and/or Agent Fabric (preferred)
