Summary
Old Mission is a global proprietary trading firm that leverages state-of-the-art technology and research to identify and execute profitable trading strategies. They are seeking interns to work alongside talented software engineers, focusing on developing C++ based trading applications and tools.
Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to how trading works, from the underlying theory to the systems and tools we build around it
- Regular sessions with senior engineers covering the fundamentals of the systems and tools we use
- Get direct feedback from the engineers you're working alongside, learning in real time
- Work directly with engineers, traders, and other teams on projects that matter to the firm day to day
Skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- A strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- At least junior standing, with a graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
- Comfortable with one or more of C++, Python or TypeScript
- A solid grasp of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, systems
- Genuine interest in markets and how software supports them
- Ability to start the internship on June 1, 2027
- No finance experience is required
