Job description

Summary

Olsson is an engineering and design firm focused on creating solutions that improve the world around us. The Remote Geotechnical Engineer will perform geotechnical design, proposal and project management duties, prepare calculations and technical reports, develop project scopes and schedules, and occasionally travel to job sites. The role also requires delivering constructible designs, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear client communications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform geotechnical engineering design, project proposal and management duties with integrity and a drive to succeed
  • Process design calculations, generate technical report documents, develop project scopes and schedules, and occasionally travel to job sites for observation
  • Ensure high client service by providing constructible designs, meeting deadlines, and creating clear communications with our clients

  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering required
  • Must be a registered professional engineer
