Job description

Summary

OneOncology is a patient-centered, physician-driven, and technology-powered oncology organization supporting community oncologists and the patients they serve. The Project Manager, RCM supports revenue cycle management initiatives by coordinating projects, tracking performance indicators, managing implementations and project plans, and collaborating with technical, operational, and practice leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all coordination activities with the RCM team to support OneOncology RCM initiatives
  • Ability to use OneOncology’s analytical tools to track, report, and create action plans from key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with integrations and practice optimization teams, along with RCM teams during integrations and throughout various RCM implementations including software roll out, tuck-ins, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Identify tasks, assign resources, and manage project plans and checklists to successfully complete tasks to meet agreed upon deadlines. Clearly delineate task predecessors, critical path, and required resources to ensure smooth project progress
  • Proactively assess projects for potential problem areas and develops solutions as needed
  • Coordinate with multiple technical and operational teams as well as practice leadership to achieve the necessary program, project or activity plans, and schedules while maintaining within budget and resource guidelines
  • Provide business analysis and due diligence support on new projects as required
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, project management methodologies, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in project management processes
  • Maintain a working knowledge of RCM to assist the team with moving projects forward
  • Tasks as assigned by the RCM Leadership team
  • Travel up to 50%

  • Solid knowledge of project management methodology
  • Ability to pick up technology and business workflows quickly
  • Effective communication skills (verbal/written/listening)
  • Must be detail-oriented, own key tasks, handle moderately complex problems, manage multiple projects simultaneously, require minimal direction and be able to work within a team setting
  • Working knowledge of OncoEMR
  • Working knowledge of CPS/ Unlimited Systems

Skills

  • Experience with customer relationships
  • Experience in identifying process inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 3+ years of RCM healthcare experience required
  • Expertise in identifying areas of improvement, critical dependencies, and process changes that enable the RCM team to attain integrated outcomes that are effective, efficient, sustainable, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodology
  • Ability to pick up technology and business workflows quickly
  • Effective communication skills (verbal/written/listening)
