Coding Business Analyst: OptumInsight

Summary

The Coding Business Analyst will analyze business systems and user needs, document requirements and processes, implement and test solutions, and support customers and projects in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and defines business requirements
• Constructs workflow charts and diagrams
• Validates resource requirements and develops cost estimate models
• Manages moderately complex requirement conflicts, and escalates complex to highly complex requirement conflicts to senior level staff
• Implements, modifies, tests, and administers business system applications under minimal supervision
• Improves current systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
• Documents and communicates processes in need of improvement
• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Implements, tests, and deploys solutions to business problems
• Supports business transition and helps to establish change
• Manages small projects, develops project plans, and monitors project performance
• Prioritizes initiatives based on business needs and requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a business analyst role or related field
• Epic Certification PB or HB Resolute
