Front End Engineer

Summary

Outpatient App is a Health Workflow Automation platform for Health Systems and Military Health Systems. They are seeking a Front End Engineer to join their initial developer team to build a cutting-edge system, focusing on user experience and efficient technical architecture.

Responsibilities

• Build web product (progressive web app), native mobile apps & work with team to design and develop all features
• Develop fast feature iterations, bug fixes and experiments
• Work across the stack collaborating with team
• Explore technical feasibility and consult on solutions
• Deliver clean, well-documented code that our users can rely on

Skills

• Demonstrated experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Demonstrated experience with React/React Native or similar frameworks; node.js or Next js is an awesome bonus
• Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver
• Possess ability to adequately size projects and provide status updates
• Understanding of code documentation best practices and style
• Strong communication skills with developers and non-technical staff
• Must learn and work well independently, and also within a collaborative team environment
• Generalist engineering experience in order to get things done fast
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and programming languages
• A deep understanding of best practices for networking, concurrency and threading
• Candidate must have US citizenship and be US-based
• Experience with native code (Android and/or iOS) is not required but nice to have
• Experience with databases (Postgres, Mongo, NoSQL) is a plus
