Summary
OVA.Work is seeking a detail-oriented AI Operations Associate to support day-to-day operations of AI and machine learning initiatives. The role involves managing AI workflows, monitoring system performance, and ensuring data quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the operational management of AI and machine learning applications
- Monitor AI workflows, model performance, and operational dashboards to ensure system reliability
- Assist with data collection, validation, labeling, and quality assurance activities
- Coordinate AI model deployment, updates, and routine operational tasks with engineering teams
- Track, investigate, and escalate operational issues affecting AI systems
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and operational metrics related to AI performance and usage
- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AI processes and operational efficiency
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of AI-powered applications
- Stay informed about AI tools, automation technologies, and operational best practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in operations, technical support, data operations, business operations, or a related role (internships are welcome)
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
- Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data
- Familiarity with Python is an advantage
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI automation tools
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or Asana
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Knowledge of data annotation or quality assurance processes
- Internship or academic projects involving AI, analytics, or automation
