Job description
Summary
OVA.Work is seeking a talented Web Application Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain responsive, scalable, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in both front-end and back-end development, modern JavaScript frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications
- Build user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end technologies
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
- Perform code reviews and follow development best practices
- Write unit and integration tests
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
- Maintain technical documentation
Skills
- Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
- Experience with front-end frameworks: React.js, Angular, Vue.js
- Experience with back-end technologies: Node.js, Express.js, ASP.NET Core, Java Spring Boot, Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask)
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis
- Experience with Git and version control
- Strong understanding of responsive web design
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in web application development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of caching technologies like Redis
- Understanding of web security best practices (OWASP)
