Summary
Padgett Law Group is a full-service creditors' rights law firm serving institutional clients across multiple states and offering national bankruptcy, replevin, and loss mitigation services. The Bankruptcy Legal Assistant/Paralegal supports attorneys by preparing bankruptcy pleadings, monitoring court deadlines, maintaining case systems, communicating with parties and clients, and providing customer service in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the research and preparation of legal pleadings for Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases
- Monitor cases through court dockets, ensuring all court deadlines are met
- Keep case management system and client communication systems updated with current status of cases
- Communicate with outside parties during entire bankruptcy process
- Develop and maintain congenial relationships with business associates and clients
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction
- Provide support to attorneys in a high volume, time sensitive atmosphere
Skills

- The position is expected to work Monday through Friday, general business hours
- Paralegal Certification preferred but not required
