Software Engineer, Internship - Defense Tech

Palantir Technologies is a world-changing company that builds leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. As a Defense Tech Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute high-quality code to Palantir's Gotham product, focusing on mission-critical products for the modern warfighter.

Responsibilities

• Supporting work specifically focusing on delivering our Palantir Defense capabilities to our most critical mission partners
• You’ll be involved throughout the product lifecycle - from idea generation, design, and prototyping to execution and shipping
• You’ll be paired with a mentor dedicated to your growth and success
• You'll collaborate closely with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand our customers' problems and build products that tackle them

Skills

• Engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, and Physics
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
• Active US Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance prior to start of internship
• Experience coding in programming languages, such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Must be planning on graduating in 2028. This should be your final internship before graduating

Qualifications

Must Haves
